About the Association

Established on July 11, 1997, The Medical Association of the Russian Federation acts as the central unifying body for medical professionals across the country. Operating under federal legislation, we are dedicated to advancing the national healthcare system, safeguarding public health, and maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.

Our primary objective is the systemic improvement of medical care quality in the Russian Federation. We strive to protect the professional and social rights of medical workers, foster the continuous ethical and scientific development of the medical community, and actively participate in shaping state healthcare policies.

Registration & Evaluation Authority

The Association operates as a healthcare registration authority. We bear the statutory responsibility to evaluate, certify, and register healthcare practitioners. Through rigorous accreditation frameworks, we ensure that every practicing medical professional meets the strict competency and ethical standards required to serve the citizens of the Russian Federation.

  • Nostrification: Official recognition of the foreign diploma by Rosobrnadzor.
  • Competency Exam: Passing a federal examination to prove alignment with Russian clinical standards.
  • Accreditation: Successful completion of Primary Specialized Accreditation.
Certificate of Good Standing

Certificate of Good Standing (CGS)

The CGS is an official state-recognized credential issued to confirm a practitioner's unblemished disciplinary and ethical record. It is a mandatory requirement for international employment.

The document verifies the absence of malpractice claims or license suspensions. It remains valid for exactly 3 months from the date of official issuance.

Current Professional Status

Current Professional Status (CCPS)

The CCPS serves as definitive proof that a physician is currently active in their clinical practice and fully compliant with all domestic CME requirements.

  • Validates active inclusion in the Federal Register of Medical Workers (FRMR).
  • Confirms the successful accumulation of required annual NMO educational credits.
  • Proves possession of an unexpired Periodic Accreditation certificate.
